S-adenosylmethionine synthetase is also known as methionine (methionine) adenosyltransferase. S-adenosylmethionine (SAM), with an activated methyl group, is a coenzyme involved in methyl transfer reaction and exists in all eukaryotic cells. SAM is synthesized by adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and methionine in the cell through methionine adenosyltransferase (MAT) catalysis, and loses one methyl to S-adenosylhomocysteine when participating in the methyl transfer reaction as a coenzyme. Most S-adenosylmethionine is produced in the liver. It plays an important role in methylation because of its "active methyl". The reaction catalyzed by S-adenosylmethionine synthetase is as follows:

ATP+L-Met+H2O=phosphate+diphosphate+S-adenosyl-L-Met

Storage conditions: at least one year at - 20 , and at least two years at - 80 ;

Re-dissolution: pure water containing 30% glycerol can be used for re-dissolution, and it can be stored at 4 for about one year; It can be stored at - 20 for a longer time after sub-packaging according to the dosage, and avoid repeated freezing and thawing as much as possible

Transportation conditions: low-temperature ice bag transportation
